Why did flappy bird get deleted?
Flappy Bird is an addictive game that was developed by a Vietnamese programmer and released in 2013. The game was downloaded 50 million times and had been earning $50,000 per day from in-game advertisements.
The developer of the game, Dong Nguyen, had been receiving death threats for the addictive gameplay of Flappy Bird. He then deleted the game to avoid any legal issues. In an interview, Dong Nguyen said that “Flappy Bird is gone forever”, and that he’s never coming back to it.
The app, which was initially available for iOS and Android devices, has been removed from both app stores.
Flappy Bird was a simple game that involved tapping on the screen in order to avoid playing with pipes. The object of the game is to get as high as possible without touching anything.
